Easy to clean, perfect for my night stand to make for a cooler sleep. I recommended it to my Daughter to get for my grandsons room. It is the hottest room in the house. Now he is cool and said he actually gets cold. I highly recommend putting filter in freezer, definately a difference.

Yes it does work. For an individual, that is! It's not gonna cool a room but IT WILL cool you off. The only glitch I'm finding is you HAVE TO have it lit up!! I use at night and do not care for any lighting!!! There needs to be an OFF for lights. I'm adding this a while later but 2 Cups of water will NOT last for 6-8 hrs. No way, so, they need to clarify that. But. Like I said, it will cool YOU off.

I got my mini portable AC yesterday and tested it last night. This works as advertised and does exactly what it's designed to do. This is not an air conditioner with a compressor etc etc. It is a small, personal evaporative air cooler and works only to cool you and not the entire room. It works best close to you and pointed at you. It does blow nice, cool air and by following the directions it can be made colder. Technically these don't lie by calling these air conditioners because technically, an evaporative air cooler is a type of air conditioner. Personally I love mine and it actually made me cold last night (I bought it for by my bed for the really hot nights). Very well designed and easy to maintain. Just as I said, do not expect this to cool an entire room, the device isn't meant to do that. As I stated, its to be pointed at you, in close proximity, and filled with water, optimally the cartridge presoaked and frozen, put together and you turn it on to help best the heat and take the edge off. Think if it as a step up from just a tiny desk fan. Very good product though! Be warned, I do live on a humid environment and while this works very well, these are meant to be used on dryer climates. Just Google evaporative air coolers for more info on how they work and such,

So, I got this thing to go camping and try to not be as hot in my TENT; I did not expect it to cool down a room, ect. It is to be used like a fan, and I had super low expectations based on the reviews; this thing, blows me away. I'm a texan and I'm used to hot, humid environment; but I end up using this in my bedroom at night instead of running my AC now bc IT WORKS THAT WELL! As long as it is pointing towards me within at 5 foot radius, it works super well. I hook it up to a USB cable when I camp and a battery, and its legit so amazing. I do find if the humidity is over 40% though that will affect how efficiently it cools; so don't use it in Florida lol. But pretty neat little swamp cooler! love and if you are looking for a tent fan, this thing ROCKS
